Researching your Irish Ancestors

In response to requests from our clients, Family Detective will be sending researchers to the Irish National Archive in Dublin this April to search through the pre-1880 Parish Records.

Obviously our time there will be limited and we will only be able to undertake research for a few clients on a first-come-first-served basis. If you would like to be a part of this exciting opportunity, please read on.

Our Irish research service works like this:

We charge an initial fee of £50 to investigate at the records office on your behalf.

To have Family Detective investigate your Irish heritage, simply choose from one of our research packages to suit both your curiosity and your pocket!

Packages:

• Irish Silver - up to 2 hours of dedicated research for £145.
• Irish Gold - up to 4 hours of dedicated research for £295.
• Irish Platinum - up to 8 hours of dedicated research for £595.

(All these prices include the £50 Initial Research Deposit)

You will only be billed for the research hours that we spend on your family, up to the maximum amount for the package chosen. This means if you order an Irish Platinum package, but we complete our research in 5 hours, you will only be billed for those hours. Our charges include presentation of all the information we find. The balance of payment will be due on completion of the research.
